Summer is here..............or is it?!!
So the weather is getting nicer, hopefully I didn't just jinx it! Hung out with 2 old friends today, it was great to just sit & laugh about old times!
I am now 3 months pregnant, everything is looking good. I got to hear the heartbeat last week and the doc said everything sound good. I am finally starting to feel better...so this is usually where the pounds start packing on :/!
I am getting ready to tackle my son & daughters' rooms to go thru clothing and start my JBF tagging. For those of you who haven't heard of JBF let me fill you in. I cannot brag enough about this event & I love to tell everyone.
The closest JBF to me is in Tacoma and the next event isn't until October but now is the perfect time to start because the process is a bit daunting at first.
Basically you sign up to be a consigner, enter your items and prices, print the tags, attach them to your clothing, hang or bag your items and organize it by gender & size......phewwww. Most of you are probably thinking that is way too much work, well it is at first and it does get a bit easier the more you do it. But here is the kicker: you get 60% of the selling price (the price you get to make!!) instead of the standard 35-40% at your local consignment stores. You get the option if you want your items to go half off on the last day and you also get the option to either pick your clothes up or donate them. So if you ask me it is worth the process especially if you are like me and have invested alot of money into your children's wardrobe. I will post the link so if you are interested you can sign up.

and they also have a Facebook Group so you can ask questions!
Plus one little added extra bonus as a consigner you get to shop before the public!!! and score some sweet deals, at the last sale they had a ton of Matilda Jane outfit's for a fraction of the prices!!
Well I am signing off to go back outside and enjoy this sun while we have it!
Happy 4th!

Couponing craze!! Oh my!
So I haven't been on here in awhile. Lots of exciting things are happening: the adoption of my second daughter is almost complete! {yay!} and we also found out that we are expecting!{oh my} So in the midst of all this craziness and also with school getting out I have decided to hop on the coupon bandwagon and give it a shot. So far I don't have any real deals to post about, I am just trying to build up my coupon stockpile. It has been quite fun hunting these babies down and also getting all the freebies in the mail! I wanted to share a few sites that I think are very helpful in this process:

These are just a few I have found very helpful! Good luck!

Check out this great giveaway from Purple Poppy
http://ppspringphotographergiveaway.blogspot.com/
It does take a bit of time to follow all the pages on Facebook, but just take one look at all the goodies that is in the giveaway and it is well worth those extra few clicks of the keyboard! Plus most of the pages have some really cute items that are available for purchase!

I found this great new {money-saving,crafts, freebies} site and I am hooked!
www.thefrugalgirls.com
I love how easy their site is to use, getting coupons, entering giveaways and getting freebies! A stay at home mom's (well anyone looking to save a few pennies..) dream come true! I absolutely love this money saving idea, I am one of those mom's who spends lots of money on pre-packaged, pre-flavored oatmeal! I never knew it was this easy, plus you don't get all of the additives and preservatives that the store bought ones have!

to bake or not to bake...
Well the day is almost over..I really want to bake a cake. But the more important question is, "If I want to eat it all too?" Hmm, homemade chocolate cake versus a couple extra pounds? Well considering I was just ask to be in one of my dear friends wedding, I should probably just say no!
I had {hopefully} one of my last visits with the social worker today! For those of you who don't know me, my husband and I are in the process of finalizing our daughters adoption. We have 1 biological child, our son Tyler and 2 adopted children, Raejah who was "officially" ours last year and Zoe who will soon be "officially" ours in the near future. What a crazy/wonderful/nail biting experience this has been. We started this process around 3 years or so ago. After finding out that we could not have anymore children or let me rephrase that-anymore children unless we wanted to undergo fertility options...after long consideration and even a few trips to the fertility place, we decided that it wasn't an option meant for us. {we do not have anything against this choice for others though}
Thus coming to the decision to adopt! yay... now on to private, foster, international.....so many choices and so many wonderful children that are waiting for their forever homes. After reading up on all the different options we decided to adopt within our states foster care system. We found a great {and local} adoption agency and got the process going!
-paperwork-background checks-classes-CPR/first.aid-tears-waiting-more classes-more tears-nail biting-anxiety-aww calls that turned into nothing-almost placements and more nerves to be trampled on....
but it was all worth it, I got my 2 beautiful daughters when I was least expecting it~god does work in mysterious ways!~ and if you ask me if I would do it all again....
YES, IN A HEARTBEAT!
This post may validate my ADD...just a little :)

ho..hum..
Well today is Wednesday! I decided to clean my house and not just the normal pick up, run the vacuum and call it a day. No, I decided to re-arrange my living room, dust, sweep and mop...and why then am I on the computer you ask? Because my kids decided to fall asleep in the midst of it all and I don't want to wake up the little angels/monsters! So I decided to blog a little as I sit here on my couch {that is now in the middle of the floor next to my tv.} Hmm.. I don't think the hubby is going to be too excited when he walks into the door. I did want to talk a little bit about my new crafting hobby that I have been pursuing. Sewing fabric flowers and making hair clippies and working with felt. {yes, felt!} I will have to post some pics because writing about them will not do them justice! I am not what you would call a "sewing gal" but I have been dabbling about and have come to realize that it is fun, relaxing and alot easier than it seems! Well I should probably at least push my furniture around a bit more and then it is off to the park with the family! Have a great day and I will leave you with this wonderful quote I found:
"May we never let the things we can't have or don't have, or shouldn't have, spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have."

New Blog!
Well, I will give this a second chance! My first blog was fun...when I remembered to update it. So one day I decided to delete it. So here I am, now a stay at home mom, crafting on the side and I have decided to go another round! So if you stumble upon this page I hope you enjoy it! I will be posting about my family, life, crafts, parties...pretty much anything that I find that I think is fabulous and worth passing on.
